What is a Fresh 48 session?
Are you looking to capture your newborn from her very beginning?
FRESH 48 newborn sessions take place in the hospital during the first 48 hours after your baby is born. These are documentary-style sessions that naturally capture all the the beauty and emotion of this once-in-a-lifetime experience, including first introductions and quiet time with mom and dad, sibling visits, and time with new grandparents.
These stress-free sessions are the perfect way to ensure that these precious moments are forever preserved for you and your family to cherish. I will visit after your baby’s birth, typically the following day when everyone is settled and comfortable. Together, we will capture the details that make this time special for your family.
Fresh 48 Newborn Sessions are also perfect for the capturing first few days of adoption.
How it works.
We schedule your session in advance (I only accept two Fresh 48 sessions per month to ensure you and your baby receive the best possible attention) and we talk about your family and how I can fully and completely capture your experience welcoming your new baby into your family.
Just prior to delivery (if possible) or just after delivery, you give me a call. We'll schedule the session as soon as possible, during daylight hours, at a time that works best for everyone.
Your online gallery is delivered within 2 weeks. Social media sneak peeks are available within 48 hours for sharing with your family and friends.
Albums arrive within 4 weeks of selecting your images.
Fresh 48 sessions are available in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and the surrounding areas in Maryland. Travel fees may apply for locations outside Baltimore City and Baltimore County, depending on your distance.
Every session includes:
- An in person (or over the phone if preferable to you) pre-session consultation and planning;
- A 45-60 minute newborn session at the hospital, birth center, or your home in the case of a home birth, during daylight hours within 48 hours of your baby's birth;
- 25+ unique, diverse, and high quality images presented in your online gallery ;
-Direct digital download of entire gallery with instructions for best printing and print lab recommendations.
